PATCH ALOE VERA plasters are designed for the adventurous. The gauze of this plaster is enriched with aloe vera extract to help repair and soothe burns, blisters and minor abrasions.
100% natural aloe vera contains two components that support the body’s natural healing process. Polysaccharides accelerate the creation of skin tissue while glycoproteins are both analgesic and anti-inflammatory.
Hypoallergenic and free of latex, parabens and thimerosal (typical wound care agent).
Not tested on animals.
- Clean the wound thoroughly and pat dry
- Select the right PATCH for your wound type
- Remove the protective packaging
- Apply PATCH with light pressure, making sure the gauze is in direct contact with the wound
- Replace the patch daily to ensure rapid recovery
PATCH was born when James Dutton (the founder of Nutricare) noticed that, while trying to protect his adventurous son Charlie, his son’s skin was actually reacting badly to classic band-aids and making the wound worse. He was shocked to discover that the conventional band-aids contained a range of chemicals. In addition, James was also encouraged by his other son, Xavier, who hates applying creams to his skin.
The band-aids are made of 100% organic bamboo fibers produced using an eco-friendly and non-toxic manufacturing process. They are free of irritating chemicals and hypoallergenic. They also feel very soft and natural and provide suitable protection and gentle support for sensitive skin types. For the additional stimulation of wound healing, aloe, active charcoal or coconut oil are added.
In addition to being skin- and eco-friendly, the folks at PATCH have their hearts in the right place: they provide wound plasters to several projects in developing countries as well as to the crew of all Sea Shepherd ships.
